Visit by students from Lübeck Technical University

During a tour around our parts manufacturing and production facilities, led by David Schliwa, International Sales Manager, the students were able to gain new insights into the packaging of food and non food products.

The topic of PPWR-compliant food packaging was met with great interest. Jürgen Füllbeck, Director Sales and Marketing, explained what lies behind the new EU regulations on sustainability, recycling and waste prevention and how they will change packaging processes in the future. This sparked an exciting discussion for all participants, in line with the motto: ‘Be aware – be VARIOVAC.’

As packaging specialists, it is very important for us to pass on our knowledge.
We would therefore like to express our special thanks to Professor Arne Pietsch and lecturer Bernd Arnold for making this excursion possible.

As a regional employer, through such courses we are keen to offer as diverse a range of perspectives as possible for career orientation. We also offer internships for this purpose.
